Jay Amer

Jay Amer leads all Canadian economic development efforts of the company and is President of his own Canadian firm. Prior to this, Jay worked as senior economic development executive responsible for delivery of a full complement of services including investment attraction, strategic planning and marketing for a regional EDO. Jay has designed and delivered successful marketing and investment attraction programs including many recognized with national and international industry awards. Jay has experience in international trade missions working closely with provincial and federal government partners and regional economic development organizations. Through his experience as a Canadian economic development professional and as (REMOVE: 1st Vice) President of the Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) and his knowledge and experience with Canada’s network of international trade commissioners, Jay is connected to a vast network of economic developers, government officials and industry leaders and is well positioned in Canada to assist any organization interested in developing investment opportunities.
His clients include local and regional governments and private sector companies of all sizes.
